I tutored children in reading and math for 3 years professionally in Hawaii on the island of Kauai. I want to be a tutor because I enjoy working with and mentoring children so they develop into good adults. I like to teach and being part of shaping the younger children so they can reach their goals. I have taken a variety of health and p.e. courses in college. I took algebra II and trigonometry. I took about 6 classes after graduation in early childhood education including teaching children's literature. I have worked at an afterschool program. I have coached basketball and soccer at the elementary-aged and middle-aged level.
